Lizzie Garrett Mettler is a Los Angeles-based journalist and copywriter. She has written for The Los Angeles Times, Vogue, Elle, McSweeney’s, Bon Appétit and Condé Nast Traveler—among many other publications, where she has covered lifestyle subjects, culture, and social issues. Lizzie also supports creative agencies in brand work with copywriting, social media direction and creative direction for brands like Johnnie-O, Loam, and General Electric. Mettler has appeared as a contributor on CNN and has spoken on CBC Radio and NPR.
Her first book, based on the award-winning blog Tomboy Style (2010-2015), was published by Rizzoli in 2012. She also consults with fashion labels on marketing and branding and launched and ran a retail start-up.
Lizzie is currently working on a graduate degree in Digital Media Management at the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at USC.
